Sleep My Princess, Sleep

Today Ella took a 4 hour nap woke up, and for the next 2 hours, played, ate dinner, played and went back to bed for the night (yes, the entire night). I think all of the craziness of the past few weeks is catching up with her. Good news is, she eis napping so well in her crib. One of my New Years Resolutions was to get her on a nap schedule. So far, so good.

Girl loves her toes. Ella is pulling off her socks to get to her toes.

Then the Office came on and everything stopped so Ella could watch the opening credits.

Busy Day!

Today was a very busy day!! We got up, ate, cleaned the living room, vaccumed, at a snack, took a nap, ate lunch, went to the rec center to sign up for swimming lessons, to the office, to costco, to target, and home for another snack, another nap, play time and dinner!!!!!

I love getting things accomplished!!!

Better Day!

Today was a much better day for Miss Ella. We got a lot done. We grocery shopped, got the car washed, cleaned the dining room, went to the bank, cooked dinner and got some work done!! And Ella was in bed by 9 (well, I hope she stays... Haha. As I was typing I heard her laugh. She must read my thoughts) Very eventful! : )

Ella playing with Nola's paws. Nola is so good!

Getting ready to grocery shop!

A Picture A Day!

My mom suggested I blog a picture a day. Since we live so far away she doesn't want to miss out on anything!

We'll see how long this lasts.

Today was not a good day for Ella. She has spent most of the day fussing. I think is the adjustment to being home, the hour time change, and missing having family around all the time. Poor girl!

During one of Ella's VERY shorts naps inrearranged Ella's bedroom. Don't worry, she was napping in the living room. I did not move the crib with Ella in it! ;-)

Greetings from the Road

Yesterday was pretty rough on the road. Ella screamed for a good 2 hours and was generally unhappy. Once the sun we down she was able to get some sleep and Mark and I got a few hours screaming free. Poor girl. 20 hours in the car is tough. She is a trooper!

Last night as we got close to Little Rock we got stuck in traffic. Apparently there was a bad wreak involving a 18 wheeler. We got off the high way in Lenoke, Arkansas and checked in to the Super 8. Not bad for $57.

This morning we were on the road by 8. Shortly after we got on the highway Ella fell asleep. She slept for 2 1\2 hours. I'm in shock!!! She woke up happy and I'm hoping she stays that was for thelast few hours of our trip.

On the Road Again

Well, our 2 week trip to Michigan is over. We had such a wonderful time and I am really sad we have to go home.
Right now we are on the road - on I-94 going towards I-69 to be exact. Mark and I got iPhones for Christmas.... So cool that I can blog from the road!!!!

I can't believe how much Ella has grown in two weeks. When we first got to Michigan Ella couldn't sit up on her own. Now she sits up with no problem. She is still working on turning her head to look at the noise across the room or behind her but she'll have it perfected in no time at all. Ella also has started to get shy!!! When a new face (well, even familiar faces) starts to smile at her she barries her head into my shoulder. So cute. She is still the happiest baby I have ever seen.

Ella's first Christmas was so fun. I can't believe all the wonderful things Ella got. We have so many toys that we couldn't fit them all into the car! My parents are coming to visit in 2 weeks so they'll all get here!
